About
Writing:
Vale Lockwood’s journey into storytelling began with a single gift- a shining new Nancy Drew book given by a Grandmother who understood the power of escape. That first story wasn’t just a book; it was a doorway, a lifeline, and a promise that the world held something more. From that moment forward, Vale was rarely without a book, finding solace and strength within their pages.
Now, as an author, Vale channels a lifetime of experience- what feels like three lifetimes packed into one- into stories that explore resilience, self-awareness, and the transformative power of forgiveness. A dandelion child, Vale believes that even in the harshest conditions, beauty and strength can take root.
Through candid reflections, and quiet wisdom, Vale Lockwood connects with readers as a kindred spirit, offering hope and a reminder that setbacks are not the end of the story- they are merely chapters in the greater tale of reinvention.
Art:
Vale has been a multimedia Artist since childhood. Vale has had studio spaces in Winter Street, Hardy & Nance, and has a new space in the works- The Art Collective of Katy-Fulshear.
Furniture Restoration:
Vale is convinced furniture has a spirit- one shaped by design, time, memory, and the hands that have touched it. Through restoration, Vale listens to the story each piece longs to tell and brings it back to life with care, creativity, and reverence. Heirlooms reborn!
